How Mill Intelligence is built

From plant walkthrough to intelligent platform.

01

Map the Mill

We walk the facility, identify the covered machines, and document the equipment included in the system.

02

Collect the Knowledge

We gather existing manuals, schematics, specifications, parts information, inventory records, and operating knowledge. We also contact manufacturers to help locate missing documentation.

03

Build the Platform

We create machine profiles, organize documentation, annotate schematics, structure parts data, and configure the AI Knowledge Assistant around your facility.

04

Bring It Online

We review the system with your team, provide access, and launch the completed Mill Intelligence Platform.

05

Keep It Current

We maintain the platform, correct reported errors, add revised documentation, support equipment changes, and release ongoing improvements.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about mill intelligence.

Straight answers about the V5 Pulse Mill Intelligence Platform, implementation, equipment documentation, artificial intelligence, data security, and ongoing support.

A Mill Intelligence Platform is a machine-centered system that organizes the information behind a grain processing facility's equipment. V5 Pulse brings manuals, schematics, specifications, parts data, maintenance history, inventory records, operating procedures, and work orders together in one searchable platform built around each covered machine.

No. V5 Pulse is a dedicated Mill Intelligence Platform with machine profiles, interactive parts schematics, inventory records, maintenance history, work orders, user roles, and a source-linked AI Knowledge Assistant. The AI assistant is one capability inside a larger system built specifically around your facility and equipment.

V5 Pulse can organize equipment manuals, parts catalogs, schematics, machine specifications, serial numbers, installation information, photographs, operating procedures, maintenance records, parts inventory, service notes, and work orders. Information is associated with the correct machine so employees can find it within the context of the equipment they are working on.

Yes. V5 Pulse can support older equipment and mixed-manufacturer facilities as long as usable equipment information can be located. Each machine receives its own profile, allowing the platform to account for different manufacturers, models, serial numbers, configurations, and applicable manual revisions.

V5 Strategies helps locate missing equipment documentation. After collecting the materials already available at the facility, V5 can contact manufacturers, dealers, distributors, and service providers on the client's behalf to request manuals, parts catalogs, specifications, and schematics. If documentation cannot be obtained, the platform identifies the gap and builds the machine profile from the information available.

The AI Knowledge Assistant provides source-linked answers drawn from the mill's own equipment documentation. Users can follow the source link and verify the answer against the underlying manual, schematic, specification, or part record. Manufacturer documentation, facility safety procedures, and qualified personnel should always guide operating, maintenance, and safety decisions.

V5 Pulse can help technicians locate relevant troubleshooting information, maintenance procedures, schematics, parts records, and service history faster. It does not replace qualified maintenance personnel, engineering review, physical inspection, or manufacturer guidance. The platform helps the team begin with better information and a direct path to the supporting documentation.

No. The standard Mill Intelligence Platform does not connect to PLC, SCADA, DCS, plant controls, safety systems, or operational technology networks. It cannot operate machinery, change settings, override interlocks, or replace lockout/tagout procedures. Any future business-system integration would require a separately reviewed and approved scope.

V5 Pulse does not replace a full CMMS. It includes machine-centered maintenance history, service logging, work order requests, parts information, and inventory records, but the standard implementation does not integrate with CMMS, ERP, purchasing, accounting, or maintenance-scheduling systems. It can complement an existing maintenance process by making equipment knowledge easier to find and use.

Each client receives a dedicated environment with its own database, document storage, credentials, and application deployment. Client data is kept separate from other customer environments, encrypted in transit and at rest, and used only to provide the Mill Intelligence service. The client retains ownership of its facility-specific data and internal records. Client data and confidential mill information are not used to train publicly available or general-purpose AI models. Relevant excerpts may be processed through commercial AI services when a user asks a question, but the information is not made searchable by other clients or combined with another mill's data.

V5 Pulse uses a one-time implementation fee followed by an ongoing monthly service fee. Pricing depends on the facility, number of covered machines, available documentation, and requested scope. The implementation fee covers the initial mill walkthrough, information collection, platform build, machine profiles, document organization, schematic annotation, configuration, and launch.

The monthly service includes continued platform access, hosting, backups, routine maintenance, security updates, technical support, reasonable updates to existing machine records, normal AI usage, and platform improvements released by V5 Pulse. It also includes up to 40% additional or replacement machines annually at no additional cost. Additional facilities, major custom development, integrations, and additional onsite work are scoped separately.
